Welcome to ShareCircles. By using our application, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ShareCircles, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms, you may not use the platform.

2. User Accounts

You must use your real identity (via Google Sign-In) to use ShareCircles. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Item Sharing Rules

• Ownership: You must only list items that you own or have the explicit right to share.
• Lender Liability: Owners assume 100% liability for any item they lend. You are responsible for ensuring your items are safe to use.
• Borrower Responsibility: Borrowers must return items in the same condition as received and on time. You must mark items as "Returned" in the app when you are done.
• Return Confirmation: A return is only considered complete on the platform when the Owner confirms it.

4. Prohibited Items & Conduct

You agree not to list or share:

• Firearms, ammunition, or weapons.
• Illegal drugs or substances.
• Hazardous materials or fireworks.
• Stolen property.
• Content that promotes hate, harassment, exploitation of minors, or violence.

Harassment, hate speech, scams, and fraudulent activity may result in immediate moderation action.

5. Limitation of Liability

ShareCircles is provided "as is" without any warranties. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the platform or the items shared through it.

6. Moderation & Enforcement

We may investigate reports and enforce these Terms and our Safety & Moderation Policy. Enforcement may include warning, content removal, temporary restrictions, suspension, or permanent account termination based on severity and repeat violations.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of any significant changes by posting the new terms on the platform.
